Tacos and Beer: A Love Story
Oh joy of joys, my absolute favorite eating holiday is nigh—Cinco de Mayo. There's something about sitting around the grill, enjoy some tacos, chips and guac, and beer that I find so incredibly pleasing. Although this is quite a common practice in my house, the forthcoming holiday brings an extra sense of excitement along with it—a realization that this is not only what I love doing, it's also what I should be doing. So what could be better than that? How about combining them all into one super-mega-taco!

Meatoberfest
Oh, reminiscing about the end of the last Meatwave season just a mere 3 weeks until the start of a new one has my mind flooded will all the good meats that will soon come. Meatoberfest was truly a day filled with good meats itself. With a Meatwaver chosen menu, this was a day that was sure to please—from brisket to ribs, with some fried pickles and cornbread thrown in there, the Meatwave was seen out in style.

Day of Atonemeat
I'm getting a lot of "When does the Meatwave start?" these days. Coming back to the site to get the 2010 schedule in order, I realized that I never finished my documentation of the last season's Meatwave. Shameful, I know.
