Stop what you're doing for a minute and close your eyes and try to imagine the most perfect world. It was filled with meat, right? It's about time you start living your dreams by coming out to the Meatwave, where you get everything you wish for, in meat form, of course.

As most of you know, the Meastmaster took an adventure overseas this year to 7000 islands of the Philippines. Well, the cultural learnings from that trip are coming back to you with a real Filimeato feast of epic proportions.

As if I need to remind you, but the Meatwave is not only about meat, it's also about friends (well, it is all about meat if you consider that's just what we all are). So stop being selfish and bring friends, family, and arch enemies with you this weekend. We must all do our part to spread the meat.

It's already July, and to me that means we're in the middle of summer. It also means the same thing to the city, since the pools have just opened! So join The Meatmaster for a swim in the Astoria Park Pool at 12pm, followed by grilling pizzas at the homestead to start at 3pm. Get wet and get meat!

Nothing can stop Carne-val, the celebration of everything meat. It's back again for another year and it's going to be bigger and better than ever. So grab yourself a big ass piece of meat and bring it over to Meatwave so we can celebrate the only way Carne-val can be.

The extra B is for BYOBB. If you didn't get that reference yet, you're sure to after we inevitably spend an entire afternoon rolling off one meat reference after another from the Simpsons in anticipation of seeing The Simpsons Movie. Join the Meatmaster who boasts the most roast on the earlier side of Sunday afternoon for some Q, and once we graduate from Bovine University, we'll all head out to catch the 7:30pm showing of The Simpsons Movie in Astoria. You'd be a Grade A Moron if you missed this.

It's time to take a different look at the Meatwave. Sure we all love hamburgers, hot dogs, and ribs, but isn't there more to the meat? This week is all about trying something new. Lets get off the meaten path and see where it brings us, I'm sure it'll be someplace delicious.

It's hard to believe, but it's been 10 years since the Meatmaster made the arduous journey from suburban VA to NYC. This type of milestone deserves a huge blow out, of the meat variety. Come help celebrate this momentous occasion at the Meatwave.

Don't despair because the summer is over and fall is just around the corner. This is exactly the time to turn up the meat to help get you through another winter. That means ton of meat to fill your belly, might as well get fat now and start hibernation a little early.
